SENATOR LIEBERMAN ANNOUNCES SERVICE ACADEMY NOMINATIONS FOR THE CLASS OF 2014

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT) announced today that he is nominating 31 of Connecticut's finest students for admission to the United States Air Force, Military, Merchant Marine and Naval Academies for the Class of 2014.
“I am pleased to see another group of Connecticut’s young people with such a high level of intelligence, integrity, dedication, and leadership ability who strongly desire to serve their country. Each year it is continues to be difficult to pick only a select number of those exceptional Connecticut students who apply. I am honored to nominate each of them to our service academies and I congratulate the nominees for their hard work culminating in this accomplishment. These academies ensure that our best and brightest get the necessary skills to lead our outstanding military men and women.”
This year over a hundred young people applied for nomination from all over the state. The following lists of nominees have been forwarded by Senator Lieberman to the admissions offices of their respective academies:
