WASHINGTON - Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT) today announced the release of $457,000 for new construction and rehabilitation projects at Weir Farm National Historic Site. The funds were released by the Department of the Interior as a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

"As Connecticut's only National Historic Site, Weir Farm is a Connecticut treasure that should be meticulously maintained," said Senator Lieberman. "This Recovery Act funding will help ensure that we preserve and protect this national icon while providing jobs."
